Here's something I NEVER thought I would finish! Even though I totally wanted to, so that I might have posters to sell. I made it at such a size that it enjoyed crashing my photoshop... though most of it was done in painter (sketch, ink, colors), the fact amuses me that it was done in photoshop format. Stupid computer.
I am particularly fond of the clothes, the mucha ripoff of a background, and the four seasons up top. I likes my seasons. And I miss them, because we don't have them here.
I got myself a nice HUGE FREAKING PRINT made of it, and it makes me SO FREAKING HAPPY. I mean it is gigantihugenormous, like almost a meter wide, and it actually looks good at that size, because I am insane. Of course, I sure as hell won't be able to sell any at that size... woosh.
I submitted it as a part of my AP design portfolio as well. I got a 5
Oh...dear.....
That's just too awesome for words! Wow is all I can say right now. *stares at the pic for half an hour*
I just simply love the details in this one. And the colouring makes me want o throw my own computer straight out of the window (but I won't...even if this doesn't even work properly). How do you colour so fantastically?!
I also am still in deep lurve of the clothing-desings you do and this is no exception. Very original and very imaginative. Fantastic!
Also the background looks really pretty. The seasons really catch your eye up there, but don't take too much away from the characters in the front. I really like that blurryness. The noveau-background fits to this so well.
You must be really happy with this and what wouldn't a person do to get a huge print of this one. I bet this took a long time to do...drawing details, colouring and all...
Gn...now I've rambled more than is good for me and to the end all I got to say is: fabulous work! and I just must fave this one.

Dear god.....I do a lot of poster design for school, and I've been DYING to do a Mucha spin-off.....I personally feel that he mastered the art of the poster, but you seemed to caputure his feel SO well, while simultaneously giving it a very modern, extremely progressive feel. I've been looking through all of your recent charcater design postings, but neglected to post simply because I was in awe and had nothing more than "This is AMAZING" to say for each one...so I didn't want to be repeditive. n_n; But like all of those other ones, your costume design is one hundred percent stunning. Everything you do is so completely original. I like how you have a somewhat anime-esque feel to your art, but you definately don't draw in the anime style. Incase you haven't noticed, out of all artists I keep watch over, you hold the record for most favorites. n_n
That is absolutely the best piece I have seen in many a long day. Not only are the character designs completely amazing (I love the classy, "dated" feel to them), but the integrated background and borders are very eye-catching. Congratulations for your excellent work.
